About this campaign
More than 474,000 children in New York City—about one in four—face hunger. Hungry children have trouble concentrating, get more headaches and infections, are more likely to be hospitalized and are less likely to perform well on athletic fields and in classrooms. It's simply much harder for children at risk of hunger to thrive. No Kid Hungry NYC works with schools, housing, recreation centers, parks, city officials, nonprofit partners and corporations to ensure kids get the food they need where they are.
Last year, it was our pleasure to raise over $800 for No Kid Hungry NYC through sales of our tee-shirts during our Annual VO BBQ! The Voice Over community stepped up in a big way to share the love! Shown here: Many a VOXY Lady, and one VOXY Man at Uncle Roy's VO-BBQ.
