About this campaign
We are raising money to help pay for Adrianne's hospital stay, medical supplies and insulin after being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. We are also wanting to raise awareness about diabetes so that parents can identify symptoms in their children early on and to also help find a cure. Our goal is $4,115. Please buy a t-shirt and help us to spread the word!
My daughter Adrianne is 4 years old and was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes on Monday, April 7 2014. This was a shock to my family and it has been an eye opening experience. Adrianne spent 4 days in the hospital to regulate her blood sugar. She gets 2 to 3 shots of insulin a day and is on special diet. She also has to get her blood sugar checked 4 times a day. All the expenses that have came with her medical care has weighed heavily on my family. We are trying to raise money by selling t-shirts not only to help with Adrianne's medical expenses but to raise awareness about type 1 diabetes and the toll it takes on young children.
