We are adopting an older girl with special needs, and we need your help! We love her, even though we haven't met her, and my heart grows each day for her, help us by purchasing a shirt to bring her home!
Shirts will be available for pickup approximately 2 weeks after the campaign end date.
My husband (Ryan) and I will be beginning the long, arduous process of international adoption in January, I say "arduous" but mean "blessed". Ryan is adopted himself (from birth), and adoption has always been on my heart--we even talked about this on our first date :), so we knew that at our one year anniversary we wanted to begin this process.
We will be adopting an older girl with special needs. My background is in special education, and Ryan is just an all-around great guy, and that's how we came to the decision to choose an older child with special needs. These precious children are looked over often because of their disability, delay, and/or age. Not by us, though, we want them!
International adoptions are expensive for many (good) reasons, court cost services, translation of paperwork, orphanage contributions (most of these are 3rd world countries), travel expenses to bring the child home, and the wonderful people stateside that aide and assist through the entire process (and after!). In total, we are looking to raise approximately $30,000. We're not even flinching at that, because our daughter, the one that's been waiting on her forever family (which turns out to be us!), for a long time, is also a daughter of the King, and all that is on this earth is His (money too!).
That being said, we want you to join our adoption wolf pack, because there'd be nothing greater than meeting her and telling her that "x" (number of people) helped bring her home!.
