Retro Union Records is dedicated to helping where it can. We have partnered with The Children's Music Fund to offer a collection of T-shirts, and 100% of the proceeds are going to helping spread the love and healing of music to children everywhere!

The Children’s Music Fund (CMF) is a national charity with a mission to provide music therapy and musical instruments to children and young adults with chronic or life-altering illnesses, and to support research on the effects of music therapy. CMF was founded in 2002 by Dr. Raffi Tachdjian, and has provided music therapy services to thousands of young people. We bring the healing power of music to children with serious medical conditions or profound developmental disabilities such as cancer, organ failure, and autism. CMF matches clients with highly skilled, Board-certified music therapists based on the needs and interests of the patient, and the qualifications and experience of the therapist. We also facilitate large-group outreach events at children’s hospitals to provide young patients with opportunities to hear live music and to participate in interactive music-making activities. CMF has grown exponentially in the last few years. In 2014 alone, we provided one-on-one therapy sessions for 25 young patients diagnosed with chronic illnesses. During that same period, we initiated music therapy services for over 1250 patients in the hospital setting. Our ultimate goal is to provide all children who are facing medical and developmental challenges access to the healing power of music in their journey towards a better quality of life. Our accomplishments have been made possible by the continued efforts of our dedicated donors, families, therapists, and volunteers.
