Justice for Ethan

Designs to celebrate the life and legacy of Ethan Saylor. He was 26 years old when he was killed by off-duty police moonlighting as mall security. His crime? Wanting to see a movie for a second time and not having the money to pay for it. For that, his larynx was crushed and he died from asphyxia. The coroner ruled it a homicide, but the grand jury did not indite the officers. Since this tragedy 2 years ago, his family has advocated for change. Ethan had Down syndrome. Maryland will become the first to mandate training for all law enforcement officer on intellectual and developmental disabilities.
