About this campaign

Buy one of these cool T-Shirts so I can Continue The Mission (every little bit helps when you are fighting an adversary that literally prints their own money)!

I am the inventor of CANVS Color Night Vision Goggles that have been continuously deployed (in very limited numbers) with US Special Forces since 2003. In 2005 I was awarded the SOCOM Small Business Administration SBIR Success Story Award in recognition of my technology. I have done everything in my power to facilitate the delivery of this capability to the end users that I developed it for. Every Operator who has ever seen the CANVS Color Night Vision Goggles asks me the same question, "Why the hell don't we have these?". If you are a Small Business and you blow the whistle on wrong doing in the Government, it seems that whistle blower protection laws don't apply. My recent briefing to The Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship seems to confirm this fact. Retaliation against me (that started in 2005) and my Veteran Owned Small Business over this program forced me to file suit against US SOCOM in front of the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (the case has been dragging on since September 20, 2011). As my only customer is Uncle Sam, you might imagine the impact it has had on me and my company. What bothers me the most is the thought that perhaps some of our soldiers (my friends) might still be alive if they had been allowed to deploy with the Color Night Vision Goggles I spent so many years and so much of my own money developing. If you believe that the words, "Equal Justice Under The Law" should not be followed by small print like "unless you are small and we are large", or "unless you are filthy rich and have made a political contribution", buy one of these shirts. And besides, you have to admit, it's a sweet design with an amazing backstory!
