About this campaign
The
purpose of this group is to provide a peer support for those who carry the Sickle Cell Disease
and increase awareness for those who support them. We want to get the image out there to remind those Sickle Cell does matter and be able to provide education and support functions for our support group
At times Sickle Cell carriers feel alone because they don't anyone personally with Sickle Cell,
the support group will provide them with the opportunity to meet others like them. They can
share their stories, challenges, fears, education, recoveries and/or provide
tips on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle despite having Sickle Cell.
*If you are parent with a child with Sickle Cell Disease
*If you suffer from any form of Sickle Cell Disease
*If you are a family member or friend of someone with SCD
*If you are a medical care provider
