24 HOUR RUN FOR CAH and CARES FOUNDATION

6 years ago I created TEAM CARES to raise funds for CARES FOUNDATION, which is the national non-profit that provides support and research for those affected by Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH).  In the previous 6 years, as part of the Northcoast 24 Hour Endurance Race in Cleveland OH, I've run in honor of Andrew.  A now 6 year old, who lives with CAH.  We've raised over $50k for CARES.  Earlier this year I ran 156 miles in 48 hours for Andrew.  (https://youtu.be/H7z4z679gPo).  

Next weekend my goal is to run 110 miles in 24 hours (122 laps around the loop course).  I'm dedicating at least 1 mile to each individual or family member listed on the back of this shirt.  I'll start with a stack of 122 cards, each hand written with the name of someone affected by CAH, or that has been an important part of my life during the past 6 years as I have run these races for CARES FOUNDATION (www.caresfoundation.org).  I'll carry a card with me during each lap as motivation and reflection.
