The Richmond Black Widows are the first and only women's football team in Richmond, VA. In our inaugural season we won a conference title and made to the championship game. We may have lost, but it only made us more determined as a rookie team.
Now, being in our 2nd year, we're pumped to make it back to the National Championship and win it! The ladies of the Black Widows have worked hard, practicing 3 times a week after work or school and taking care of their families.
This season we've seen some injuries, but our bond is strong as only the game of football can make it. We are determined more than ever to fight our way to the National Championship game and bring back some jewelry!!
