About this campaign

We wanted to give anyone an opportunity to give back to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) in honor of fallen NYS Law Enforcement Officers of 2013. Buffalo Police Officer Patty Parete, NYPD Sergeant Patrick Divers, NYS Trooper Winston Martindale Jr., NYS TrooperBilly Keane, NYS Trooper Ross Riley and NYS Trooper David Cunniff, leave an incredible legacy.ALL MONIES GO DIRECTLY TONLEOMF. **For YOUTH sizesplease choose the Light Steel T-shirt when ordering. Adults can order either Graphite or Light Steel.

As a family planning to attendNational Police Week in May 2014, we thought it would be a simple but effectiveway to continue to show our love and appreciation for these brothers and sistersin law enforcement,while alsohelping to raise money where it is surely needed. We can all wearthis T-shirt together on May 14th and make a powerful statement that we are not in this alone.Even if you can not attendyour order is helping a really important cause!Please help us reach OUR goal of at least 500!But webelieve with your help wecan do even better than that!The T-Shirts are $20.00 with $5.00 shipping and allorders must be in by April 21, 2014. About their sacrifice:
SgtPatrickDivers 2jpgNYPD Sergeant Patrick Divers had served with the New York City Police Department for 25 years and was assigned to Brooklyn North Narcotics. He suffered a fatal heart attack while participating in a drug buy-bust operation with other detectives. He is survived by his wife, daughter and son.

Buffalo Police Officer Patty Parete succumbed to gunshot wounds sustained on December 5th, 2006, when she and her partner confronted an armed subject while responding to a 911 call about a fight at a convenience store. Officer Parete suffered a spinal injury as a result of the shooting and became paralyzed from the neck down. She died as a result of complications from the wounds on February 2nd, 2013. Officer Parete became an officer in 2001.

NYS Trooper Winston Martindale, Jr.succumbed to injuries sustained on May 9th, 2011, after responding to the scene of a plane crash in Wawayanda, New York.Trooper Martindale was one of the first responding units to a crash involving two small planes that had llided. During the response he fell on a piece of equipment and suffered internal injuries and internal bleeding. Despite the injuries, he continued his efforts to free the two pilots from the wreckage. Trooper Martindale was with the New York State Police7 years and amember ofthe US Army Reserves. He is survived by his wife, son, daughter, parents, sister, and brother.

NYS Trooper William P.Keane suffered a fatal heart attack while officially representing the New York State Police in the North American Inspectors Championship in Salt Lake City, Utah.Trooper Keane was a U.S. Navy veteran. He had served with the New York State Police for 26 years and was assigned to the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit in Troop A. He is survived by his wife, seven children, and eight grandchildren.

NYS Trooper M. Ross Riley died after falling approximately 30-feet while participating in a high-angle rescue training exercise in Letchworth State Park. As part of the exercise a life-size dummy had been placed on a ledge of a cliff over Wolf Creek. Trooper Riley, a paramedic for the agency, and two other troopers rappelled to the ledge and secured the dummy to a stretcher. As other personnel began to lift the stretcher Trooper Riley fell backwards and dropped approximately 30 feet into Wolf Creek, suffering severe head injuries. Trooper Riley was with the New York State Police for 17 years and a United States Marine Corps Veteran. He is survived by his wife and three daughters.

NYS Trooper David Cunniff succumbed to injuries sustained the previous night when his patrol car was struck from behind by a tractor trailer at approximately 8:25 pm.He had made a traffic stop of aspeeding vehicle on the New York State Thruway, at Exit 27, and was stopped on the shoulder when the semi hit his cruiser from behind. The impact caused him to become partially ejected.Trooper Cunniff had served with the New York State Police for 9 years and was assigned to Troop T. He is survived by his wife and two young sons. -----------------
