About this campaign
Commemorate the storied history of the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior as one of the Army’s most successful helicopters. This shirt pays tribute to hundreds of thousands of hours this horse has spent defending our great nation. Be a part of history as we put this trusty steed to pasture!
With the transition of the Air Cavalry from Kiowa Warriors to Apache helicopters, we must say goodbye to a trusted, tried and true friend. This helicopter has meant a lot of things to a lot of people. Whether providing real-time battlefield intelligence to ground force commanders at the National Training Center, keeping Soldiers safe from ambush on a route clearance in Afghanistan, or ensuring peace and stability in Kosovo and Bosnia, the mere sight of an OH-58D has brought security, confidence, and courage to our ground brethren for over 30 years! Troopers rode this horse into battle across the globe: from the DMZ to the high peaks of Afghanistan. Wherever her critics said she could not go, this faithful steed pressed on and met mission without fail, time and again. We created this shirt design in honor of such an incredible history of world-class service.

Armed Scout Helicopter initiative in 1983.
