I'm Jen, I'm 33 and I'm a brain tumor survivor! I like to call myself a MASS KICKER! I'm a Mommy to a 5 year old boy, but when I was diagnosed, he was one and a half years old. He gave me no option but to fight. After surgery, I wasn't allowed to lift him because of cranial pressure and needing to heal. I remember he would reach up for me to pick him up. I would sit down next to him and hug him. He didn't understand why. And we would both cry.

You really don't know the strength you have until it is your only option! This is my 3rd year walking in The Race for Hope in Washington, D.C. and my biggest mini fan will be walking with me again! (Yay Noah!)

Not everyone can join the walk, physically or virtually, but you can get a super cool zombie shirt and spread awareness!
