About this campaign

SEPTA was founded in 2011 and provides educational and supportive resources to special education student and their families. We partner with community organizations when needs arise and fully commit to contributing when and where appropriate. Our goal is to incorporate special education into every aspect of the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District,.

SEPTA is a parent and teacher association designed to bring together those in the special needs community of the West Allis-West Milwaukee School district.
Community events focus on a variety of topics pertinent to children with special needs. We explore our role in student's educational process and evaluate different ways in which we can raise awareness and increase educational opportunities for all children.
SEPTA has monthly meetings with guest speakers. Topics of interest are demonstrated by request of our members. We host bi-annual outings for all special needs children and their families and have a parent liaison program to unit and work with each school's PTA.
