About this campaign
Each T-shirt sponsors the placement of a 2015 WAA wreath to"remember and honor" veterans and their loved ones buried at over 1,000 national cemeteries.
Even though WAA (www.wreathsacrossamerica.org) began honoring veterans in 1992, our 501-c-4 family support group at a military retirement community (http://bwhccfc.org/wreaths.htm) didn’t get involved until 2012, when we noticed WAA wreaths on loved ones’ graves. WAA is now a tradition for us and many of our families! Our group number is VA0017P.
In 2014, residents, families, team members and friends of Belvoir Woods Health Care Center at The Fairfax sponsored 422 WAA wreaths. We were especially proud to honor those veterans and spouses that passed last year, as well as remember their families with photos and/or emails of the wreaths.
We now are also supporting other WAA fundraising groups at over 1,000 national cemeteries.
