About this campaign

We at The Fighting Rose need your help to spread love and support to those that fight just to live an extra day. Sending love packages is the best way to show how much we all care for one another.

The Fighting Rose was founded on October 2011. My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer, February of 2011 our world was turned upside down. The battle was not easy at all. My mom felt all she had in the world were her six kids and at the time her three grandkids. I wanted her to know we weren't alone. I guess, I also needed that reassurance as well. So I bought a laptop and created a Facebook page to prove to my mom and myself that others do care. There were others like us and feeling alone went away. Then a feeling for making a change started to overwhelm me. Now it's been a year and two months since my mom passed and in her honor I will spread awareness. Give love and hope to those that might not feel it anymore. Help those that fight, fight harder then ever before. Stomach cancer can not be overlooked any longer. Its time we wake up and educate each other.
