PANDAS/PANS Awareness T's for Empowered Hands for PANS

When people started asking me to open the shirt sales again, I started looking for a charity that it could benefit. I was blown away when I came across this one. Please readthe message below from the founder.... I think you will agree with me! Empowered Hands for PANS (EHP) is a Michigan non profit (federal 501c3 status pending) founded by a teenager with PANDAS. It was created to make and deliver care packages filled with activities and a hand-tied polar fleece blanket to comfort children/teens going through IVIG treatment for PANS, PANDAS, and PITANDS. Empowered Hands for PANS collects donations from people at events like talent shows and through applying for grants. Currently, EHP has applied for a grant through Disney's Friends for Change program and a local church (2013 giving campaign and the 2014 giving campaign). Additionally, funds have been donated via profits from Mary Kay make up sales from a local consultant. In August of 2013,fifteen care packages were delivered to Dr. K in Hinsdale IL. Thirty more packages were prepared on October 5, 2014 at the Livonia PANDAS/PANS Awareness day kick off event. These packages will be delivered to physicians who will accept them for their patients including but not limited toDr. K's office in IL; Dr. F's office in MI; Dr. C's office in MI; Dr V's office in MI, Dr K's office in Beachwood, OH, and other doctors in the US willing to accept these packages to give to their patients receiving IVIG (as funds permit). Coram Infusion Centers may also choose to participate. I hope to eventually spread the organization to more of the country throughout my life and potentially through other PANS, PITANDS, and PANDAS kids.
