Help Us To Rescue Exotic Birds

We would like to share a sad note that happened here at The Feathered Nest Saturday (06.20) ...without any warning we lost our beloved African Grey, Timbah to a possible stroke/heart attack. So we've extended the campaign in his honor and that the T-Shirts will be to dedicated to his memory.
Funds raised through the sale of our T-Shirts will enable us to provide major medical attention ...albeit, general exams, surgeries and medications. These vet bills are overwhelming and the costs are continuously rising. We also need aid in providing the best, nutritional food possible. Over the years, we have taken in 243 of these Exotics (122 of them have passed over to "Rainbow Bridge") and presently we care for 121. All are helthy, some we have with one eye, some can't perch any longer (so we have to provide special settings so they too, can live a good healthy, fun filled life). We have cared for some that developed cancer and we needed to provide medications throughout their ordeal.
In order to provide this service, we need also to expand our facility. At times we must turn away new comers as our facility can only handle so many. therefore funds raised here will assist us to finish with our expansion plans and bring in more of the Exotics that owners can no longer afford to keep and maintain. (unfortunately some people have NO idea what to do and therefore they simply open their house doors and let the birds fly out. NOT a good idea. So we need your assistance in providing a good, loving environment and wellness care for the
remainder of their natural life.
