Help us reach our goal of 175 shirts sold. If we are able to reach our goal, you will be helping Noreen with a month of medical coverage.

If we reach 175 shirts sold we will earn $2,000. All funds raised will go directly to Noreen.

In March 2013, Noreen was diagnosed with Stage 3 Lung Cancer. Since then, Noreen has been fighting cancer with multiple radiation and chemotherapy treatments. After 23 years of employment with William Backus Hospital (27 counting per diem), Noreen is unable to continue working through her treatments. Because of this, Noreen has lost all medical benefits.

Noreen’s family and friends will be holding a benefit pasta dinner on Saturday, October 26th from 5-9 PM. The dinner will be held at the Ashaway Fire Department, 213 Main St., Ashaway RI. The cost will be $10 for adults and $5 for children. Tickets can be purchased in advance by contacting Noreen’s son, Dennis (860-884-8258). You can also contact Dennis if you are interested in donating an item for a basket raffle. There will be a 50/50 raffle, basket raffles and kid friendly activities!

To help offset the cost of medical expenses, please help support “Team Noreen” by purchasing a T-shirt. Shirts will be available for pick up at the pasta dinner. If you are unable to attend, we will make arrangements to get your shirt to you.
