About this campaign

Help show your support of Matt as he battles chronic myeloid leukemia and all the complications associated with this disease.

Matt Mamer was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia in December 2013.  After beginning treatment he was hospitalized for pneumonia and has since spent 40+ days in the hospital.  His hospital stay has so far consisted of two weeks spent in ICU care and the rest in general hospital care.  He started at ISJ hospital in Mankato and was transferred to Rochester Methodist hospital due to the severity of his infection.  Matt will have medical expenses the rest of his life as he will take medication to control the disease.  I idealize my brother for his courage, strength and determination to come out on top of this disease.  Please show support of Matt by purchasing a Team Matt shirt.  We will be wearing shirts to his benefit on May 17th.
