Team Harli

In 2009 I was blessed with meeting a woman who brought unto me the most beautiful 7 pound bundle of perfection. I had always wanted to be a parent so I accepted raising Harli as my own and hit the ground running. Her mother and I had a rough relationship. I worked full time and even picked up an extra job to keep us going. There were diapers, late nights, and early mornings but I loved this little girl. When she was a little over a year old she started calling me dada. Yes, I am a birth-gendered woman but who wouldn't graciously accept this role in her young life. In 2012 after years of verbal and mental abuse I finally got the strength to leave my relationship but NEVER my child. I had her every other week until her mother was evicted and forced to move back home, three hours away from me. I still saw my daughter every three weeks for three weeks at a time and THEN a miracle happened. Her mother gave me the opportunity to gain joint custody! I became her legal dad in April of 2014. It came to my attention late last yearthat my daughter hadn't been in school and hadn't received her vaccinations as I was told. I provide insurance for her so there is really no excuse. I want to gain sole domicile benefits that allow my daughter to stay with me so that she can attend school, join sports, and keep up-to-date with health check ups. While a win for both my daughter and I IS possible, it wouldn't be without your generosity. Please help me to do what is right for daughter. She is so smart and she deserves all the opportunities to succeed. Thank you.
