About this campaign
Anthony W. Nevarez is a 5 year old boy with Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma, after long days of chemotherapy he is now ready for a major surgery to attempt in removing his tumor. His shirt will be worn on this special day as well as other important procedures he still needs (like a bone marrow transplant) as we hope for the best and spread awareness of his condition but also spread awareness of other children who go through a childhood cancer. All the funds collected from the shirt sales will be donated by our family to another family with a small child experiencing a life threatening condition, help us stop cancer from taking our little ones away.
On October 26, 2016 our family got the devastating news that my 5 year old brother had Stage 4 Neuroblastoma Cancer. Throughout this journey Anthony has been very positive as he undergoes multiple chemotherapy sessions and other procedures. At first his tumor was covering most of his body not allowing anyone to operate due to it being high risk. After multiple chemo days his tumor has finally started shrinking enough that if his tumor is small enough to operate in the next round of chemo his surgeons will attempt to remove as much as they can without doing any damage. He still has a long way to go to be cured due to scans showing another tumor in his arm. Despite the good and bad news we receive our family stays positive and continues to hope for the best. Throughout this process multiple people have reached out to us with help and now it is our time to give back. We have created this shirt for everyone who would like to show him support and agreed to give all the collected donations/funds to another family who is also dealing with a similar situation. We hope you decide to purchase our shirt and if you decide not to we thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
