About this campaign
Make a charitable donationand receive a collectible keepsake from the Charity Fundraiser SWIM-A-THON benefiting Sunshine on a Ranney Day,hosted at Atlanta Swim Academy May 3rd, 9am-3pm.
This is a USA Swimming sanctioned event, happening right here at Atlanta Swim Academy (732 Johnson Ferry Rd, Marietta GA 30068)Saturday May 3rd9am-3pm. Our swim team and instructorswill be swimming laps to raise funds for thelocal charity,Sunshine on a Ranney Day.
100% of donations raised by our participantswill go directly toSunshine on a Ranney Day(SOARD), a local 501(c)(3) non-profit IRS registered charity that creates dream room makeovers for children with long term disabilities or illness. Founded in 2012 by Holly and Peter Ranney, they rely on donations to make these children's dreams come true.
We'll have Channel 2 ActionNews and Sunshine on a Ranney Day representatives joining us May 3rd, as well as the family our funds raised will directly help! Tashawn, an 8yr old swimming enthusiast with cerebral palsy, and his sister Alissa will be cheering our swimmers on poolside!Swim-a-Thon participants have been getting sponsors all April, and submitting room makeover ideas for Tashawn and Alissa's upcoming swim themed room makeover. We're having a lot of fun, the kids are loving being a part of this and we thought YOU out there would like to be a part of the dayas well! These shirts are a fun way to donate, while getting a collectible keepsake. Sunshine on a Ranney Day's beloved pig mascot, Gracie, is featured on the t-shirt, ready to jump in and swim! Celebrate the day with us by ordering your t-shirt, wearing it May 3rd, and joining us on location (if you can) tomeet Sunshine on a Ranney Day and see our athletes in action! If you're out of state, we'd still love to see you in your shirt!
