Our Little Hero

The Carey family needs your support! Show off your cool "Super D" t-shirt for our little hero Dylan...100% of the proceeds go direct to the family to offset Dylan's medical and other expenses!

In round 1, we were able to raise almost $1000 in donations (THANK YOU!)..lets keep it going! If we reach 80 shirts sold we will donate another $500, and seeing everyone in their t-shirts is an amazing show of support!

Please contact Campaign Organizer for any questions.

Shirts will be delivered approximately 2 weeks after the close date.

As most of you know, 3 year old loving, energetic, fireball Dylan Carey was diagnosed on July 4, 2013 with Neuroblastoma. He was originally seen at Delnor Hospital and then transferred to Central Dupage Hospital in Winfield. He has now undergone surgery and had the tumor removed and started the very long process of chemotherapy. For his family and friends all of this news has been shocking and overwhelming. To say all of this has been life changing is an enormous understatement.

His family has taken up temporary residence (and will continue to do so on and off) at CDH. Their long journey has begun. Dylan has been poked, prodded and many other things over the past weeks yet his indomitable spirit remains super strong. His smile and laughter are as infectious as ever and he will gladly tell you exactly what he thinks, no if’s and’s or but’s about it!

Chris, Tim, Gavin and Dylan are taking each day as it comes, one step at a time. I saw a quote “A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” – Christopher Reeve/Superman” This most definitely goes out to describe our littlest superhero..Dylan!
