Raising Funds To Donate Toys to Children With Sickle Cell Who have Extended Stay At the Children Hospital

I am 11 years old. I have Sickle Cell and recently had an extended stay at the Children's Hospital due to an enlarged spleen. I am doing a two weeks fundraiser through my birthday, to raise money to donate toys to children with Sickle Cell who have extended stay in the hospital. During my last hospital stay, to help distract me from my pain, I asked to use their Xbox gaming system. It was disappointing to learn that all the games for the Xbox system were stolen. This made me very sad. So, I spoke to my family and we came up with a plan to do a fundraiser through my birthday, which is September 11. Using our annual family shirts that we usually wear to help spread Sickle Cell Awareness during the month September. Our goal is to raise funds to replace the stolen Xbox games and to add other entertaining items for children who have extended stay just like me. Replacing the video games and adding new toys before my upcoming surgery (to remove my spleen) will help make my recovery even more comfortable and also rewarding. Thank you! I AM SICKLE CELL STRONG!
