Mission Trip to Spain and Ireland

Brittney Powell's Story: 
This summer, I'll be spending 8 weeks in San Fernando, Spain along with other surrounding areas. While in Spain, I'll have many ministry opportunities with a family I'll be living with. Teams will be flying in and I will be joining them on mission. We will have opportunities to go into the mountains and preach Jesus, go to the borders of Morocco and preach to Islamic people at market, work with children in VBS  and many other ministries. While I am participating in these activities, I will expand my knowledge and experience with the Spanish culture, grow to know strangers through our mission to spread the Gospel, be able to share the Gospel in new ways, and learn how to speak about Jesus with those of other religions. I am so overjoyed and excited for this opportunity to spend my summer as a missionary intern in Spain.  

Brittany Linder's Story:
I am graduating in May from LeTourneau University with my Bachelors in Business Administration and minors in Management and Christian Ministry. Upon graduating, with a direct calling and prayerful consideration, I will be traveling to New Ross, Ireland from June to December of 2014 where I will be teaming up with Adventure in Missions to work in a drop-in youth center. Ireland used to be the land of saints and scholars and has played a massive part in the spread of the Kingdom of God throughout the world. Sadly, however, the Christian faith plays less of a part in Irish culture now than it has since the time of St. Patrick. Our work will help students rediscover the Jesus who has been lost in the midst of religious institutions and abuse.
