Help Southern California Bulldog Rescue Start 2015 Right!

Southern California Bulldog Rescue started off the new year with not only a large number of dogs coming into rescue, but many of them very sick and requiring costly medical care and surgeries.

Wheezy is one of the dogs that you'll be helping by purchasing this shirt.  Wheezy was abandoned at the Moreno Valley Shelter and we rescued her MINUTES before she was set to be euthanized.  Upon picking her up, she was in extreme medical distress and we had to rush her to an emergency vet hospital.  With a severe case of pneumonia, she remained there for days in an oxygen tent, fighting for her life.  We are happy to say that Wheezy is out of the hospital and in a foster home now, still getting better, but her stay at the hospital cost over $8000.


Another dog that you'll be helping by purchasing this shirt is Ziggy.  Ziggy came to us with a broken leg from an owner who couldn't afford his costly surgery.  His break was bad and required a complicated surgery where pins were placed in his legs.  We are happy to say that he has had his surgery and is currently is the recovery phase, but his surgery cost  us $2000 and your t-shirt purchase helps us cover the cost of his much needed surgery!

Since Dec. 31, 2014, we have taken in 6 dogs already and we have more we'll be picking up from shelters and getting from owners in the weeks to come.  This is a difficult time for us - the beginning of the year tends to be a time where more dogs come into rescue than any other time of the year.  Many of these dogs are coming to us sick and injured and we need your help to continue to keep saving these dogs and giving them the care that they need to be healthy, adoptable bulldogs.
