About this campaign
Please help support Russell Matthews (my sweet brother-in-law) and friend to many, fight his way through this horrible disease of Esophageal Cancer. I know that treatments can be very expensive and I wanted to try and find a way to help, so I started this booster with support T-shirts to sell to all of our friends and family. I would greatly appreciate anyone’s help and support for the cause. Love to everyone for your support and prayers.
As many of you know Russell and Callie Matthews were high school sweethearts who married early and have 2 wonderful boys. They have been through so much together and their love and bond is very strong. Russell had just started a new job in Plano when he found out on April 4th that he had a huge mass pressing through his esophagus, and had already spread to the nearest lymph node.We were in shock to learn of this news, however, after a few days of hospitals and surgery we quickly knew that we had to be strong and have courage for Russ. If you have ever had the pleasure to know Russell, you will know that he is one of the sweetest guys you will ever meet. Always there to help you and never says no. Not to mention is very witty personality. Always making us laugh even through this hard time. His positive spirit will greatly help him get through this ordeal.
