About our designer: Richard Sherman

This edition of Richard Sherman's Booster has ended, but you can buy this same shirt to support the second round of his campaign HERE!

Richard Sherman

Sherman is not only a playmaker on the field, he is a difference maker off of it as well. Sherman spends the off-season as a spokesperson for a student organization called S.W.A.G., short for “Student With A Goal.” The organization tours several schools nationally and speaks on the importance of setting and achieving goals. Sherman also has started his own foundation called “Blanket Coverage.” His goal is to raise money for school supplies for less fortunate students.

Richard Sherman is a third-year cornerback out of Stanford. As a 5th round pick in the 2011 NFL draft, many teams overlooked Sherman’s talent and ability to play at the NFL level. Sherman proved doubters wrong and was named a 1st Team All-Pro in 2012. Richard Sherman represents a new breed of NFL cornerbacks. At 6’3” 195 pounds, Sherman towers over his opposition. Sherman also is a student of the game; spending countless hours studying game film. Being both a Wide Receiver and Cornerback while at Stanford, Sherman’s understanding of the game is like that of a seasoned veteran.

Sherman graduated from Stanford with a degree in communications and was highly recruited out of Dominguez High School in Compton, California. Despite receiving numerous scholarship offers to play at top programs all over the country, Sherman chose to go to Stanford over local powerhouse USC because he wanted to make a statement about the importance of education. His decision to attend Stanford made him the first athlete to attend Stanford from Compton.

About the Be Good to Each Other campaign

At CustomInk, we believe in the Golden Rule and treating others with kindness and respect. Statistics show that between 20-30% of school-aged kids in the United States have been bullied. That is why we've created the Be Good To Each Other campaign to help increase awareness and ultimately prevent bullying by uniting groups with custom t-shirts.

This is the third year of the CustomInk Be Good To Each Other campaign. With the help of our celebrity partners, the media and you, CustomInk has raised more than $20,000 for bullying prevention efforts. And the power of t-shirts goes beyond just the funds raised - thousands of people continue to wear the shirts they've purchased and spread the word that bullying is not okay!
