About this campaign

The Reddit community and I are running a campaign to support the After-School All-Stars (ASAS). We’ve always come together to support causes we believe in, and the After-School All-Stars is an amazing organization that empowers children by helping them succeed in school and in life. All raised funds will be donated directly to ASAS to help fund after school programs for over 87,000 students across the country from New York to Hawaii.

Every day in the United States as many as 15 million children leave school with no place to go. And every day many of these at risk youth are involved in crimes, join gangs, or experiment with drugs, alcohol or sex. After-School All-Stars offers a proven alternative for these children. Founded in 1992, ASAS is one of the leading national providers of comprehensive out-of-school time programs.
