About this campaign

Two groups I support are Save-a-Mutt and Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF). Funds from the sale of these tees will go to support rehoming dogs from over crowded shelters and giving them a second chance to lead a happy, tail-wagging life.

One of the reasons I started Keep the Tail Wagging was to be a voice for dog lovers and dog rescue.  In the past two years, I've met a lot of people in dog rescue and there are a few who have become dear friends and the work that they do to rescue dogs has inspired me to create a series of tees to be sold to support their work.

There are dogs in states that don't have a chance, because the shelters are so overwhelmed; my friends, together with rescue workers in other states, have come together to transport these dogs to areas where they can get veterinarian care and be placed in safe, foster homes until their forever family takes them home.

And this isn't all that these amazing people do; they're also responding to those Free to Good Home ads we see on Craigslist.  If a dog is being given away, because it's too old, too sick, too aggressive, or because the family is too busy - you can bet Scrub-a-Mutt will be reaching out to help lead that dog into a new, loving home and getting him/her the vet care and dog training needed for a happy, healthy life.

These people epitomize the name of my blog, because they are working to keep the tail wagging.  They are doing the work that would break many of us and they don't allow anyone to get in their way.
