About this campaign

Raise awareness to the millions of LGBT Youth who live each day in fear by purchasing a #HerNameWasLeelah #HisNameWasZander T-shirt.

Leelah Alcorn, a 17 year old transgender female, committed suicide on December 28, 2014.
Zander Mahaffey, a 15 year old transgender male, committed suicide on February 15, 2015
These are only two of the many transgender lives that are lost by their own hands due to lack of support and acceptance, causing the American Transgender Suicide rate to fluctuate to an alarming 43% and still rising.
We ask you to support the lives lost or struggling with a simple purchase of a shirt respecting the two teens. This fundraiser ends on the 9th of March, and 100% of all proceeds go directly to the Lost-n-Found Youth, Atlanta's only non-profit organization solely dedicated to the housing of homeless LGBT Youth. Your input could save the life of one who desperately needs it.
