About this campaign

We are a group of Holocaust and Genocide Studies students in a Comparative Genocide class at Keene State College looking to promote awareness of genocide and mass atrocity. As an advocacy part of our studies in a Comparative Genocide class, we are fundraising for the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center in honor of the 20th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide. By creating an informed t-shirt about countries currently experiencing conflict, at risk for conflict, or that have experienced conflict in the past, we hope to educate the public about the spread and realities of genocide and mass atrocity.

The countries ranked on our t-shirt are not aimed to create a political statement but are an effort at humanitarian education. We developed our list through research and our own studies in the field.
