About this campaign

We are a group of people from the community of Des Moines, Iowa.  For the last 10 years we have been rescuing pitbulls with no chance at life and rehabilitating them followed by placement in a forever home.  Due to the overwhelming number of misunderstood dogs being euthanized and neglected we are expanding our efforts and up-sizing our facilities.  We are experienced turning even the most aggressive of dogs into a loving pet and there is no dog that doesn't have a place in our heart.  We believe EVERY dog deserves a fair chance at a happy life.  This is for the love of the animals.  We would greatly appreciate your donations so we can continue to progress in this venture and truly do our part to make the world and community a better and happier place.

During my childhood I was raised around pitbulls.  Their loving nature inspired me to give back to the breed.  It all started when I was 15 years old and I encountered a stray pitbull that had been shot.  I took him home and tended to his wounds and became greatly attached to him, and was forever a believer in animal rehabilitation.  I then pursued actively finding dogs in need and the pursuit turned into a passion.  I ran into a lot of similar people along the way and childhood friends were molded similarly.  We are now an unstoppable group of dog lovers who can handle any dog situation.pitbulljpg
