Prayer's for Logan

Hello my name is Logan Briggs I am currently 4 years old. In October 2011 I became very sick i was always throwing up and couldn't keep even water down I was taken to the hospital several times but to no avail nothing was ever found i was always sent home with the same diagnosis " it was only a viral infection and i would have to wait it out." I then started have problems keeping my balance I would tilt my head to one side and when I would try and walk Id fall over. I am quite the silly boy and was always doing things to make others laugh after a few times everyone knew it was serious I could no longer walk or keep my balance. I was taken to Johnson Memorial Hospital where I was finally seen by a Dr. who was concerned that I was still fighting this so called viral infection. He decided he was going to do a cat scan to make sure that things were ok. When the Dr. got back with my scans everyone was told that he seen what appeared to be a blood clot in my brain. I was immediately taken to Riley Hospital For Children by ambulance where the Drs did another cat scan and an MRI. it was determined it wasn't a blood clot because it was a solid mass. so the Drs decided that surgery was needed to do a biopsy to see what this mass was. when the results came back everyone immediately started crying as the mass was in fact cancer. I found out that day that I had what is called Ependymoma it was located on my cerebellum and had grown into my brain stem. the Drs done surgery on October 20th, 2011 they managed to remove 99% of the tumor sadly the 1% they could not remove and had to stay for fear if they tampered with it to much that it would cause even more long term problems. So it was decided that at 19 months old I had to go through radiation also known as "Proton Therapy" they normally wont do radiation on children younger then 3 but it was the only kind of treatment that would help me. I had to go everyday for 6 very long weeks and have this done. between the radiation and the prayers I had received I was able to ring the bell at the end of my treatments. from there I thrived I was happy I always smiled and most of all I had all the love in the world. I had to go every 3 months after that last day of radiation for MRI's to make sure that my tumor hadn't grown. The Drs said that they couldn't say it wasn't there but could say that it was at least so small they couldn't see it. So I was bumped up to every 6 months for my MRI's. I was in remission for about 2 years. I went back for a routine MRI on January 23,2014. When my Dr came in she told my daddy and grandma that she was sad to report my tumor had come back and that I would yet again have to go through the process all over again. I go Wednesday to have a spinal MRI to make sure that the cancer hasn't spread to my spine and then we will find out when my surgery is and when I start my radiation again. if everyone would please pray for me .
