About this campaign

Everyone helped me return to competition just a little while ago at North America's Strongest Disabled Man, now I'm looking for more help to go to Iceland and I'll also be donating some of the money to a very worthy charity.  So, I present to you, One-Legged Lightning T-Shirt 2.0: The One That Looks A Bit Like A Jersey of Some Sort.

On November 30, 2013, I was struck by a pickup truck while on my motorcycle. My left leg was amputated in the accident, and I suffered numerous broken bones.  Before the accident, I competed in strongman and powerlifting competitions as often as I could.  Originally, I was told it would be a year before I walked again and the doctors didn't sound too optimistic about my competing again.  I started walking after less than six months, and was cleared to start lifting again not long after.  On April 18th I competed in Columbus, OH at North America's Strongest Disabled Man and came in second place (we won't talk about how many people showed up cough two cough), and I'm now looking to travel to Iceland to compete at World's Strongest Disabled Man.

Now, here's my plan. I'm going to donate a quarter of all of the money raised to Amputee Blade Runners, and if for some reason I don't end up going to Iceland, I'll be donating all of the money to them instead of just hoarding your money. This makes me feel better about asking for money again, and it means we all get to help someone get a bit closer to a running leg!

If you choose the option to have the shirt sent to me, make sure I have some way of getting the shirt to you without shipping it.
