The National Society for the Gifted and Talentedbelieves all gifted students, regardless of their financial situation, should be able to experience the academic rigor and enrichment that they deserve. As such, we strive to provide as much scholarship funding as we possibly can so that these studentsmay attend gifted and talented programs. Each shirt purchased from this Booster campaignwill go toward scholarships that will directly benefit the lives of gifted youth, specifically for students interested in the Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) program. If you are able, we encourage you to purchase one and show your support proudly.By reaching our goal, we can sponsordeserving, driven childrento take part in a rewarding, challenging educational and social experience this summer!

100% of all funds raised will go to NSGT scholarships for the SIG program.

The mission of the National Society for the Gifted and Talented (NSGT) is to advance the development of gifted, talented, and high potential youth, in the United States and abroad, through opportunities, advocacy, and exemplary programs and practices.

Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG), a division of NSGT,strivesto provide the highest quality educational and social opportunities for academically gifted and talented students through programs designed to meet their abilities and needs.

SIG began in 1984 and has expanded over the past 30 years to include 11 residential sessions in 8 states (summer), over 15 day programs (summer), and approximately 3 online programs (year-round). In 2014, we served close to 2,500 academically gifted students, from ages 5-17 and from locations nationwide, as well as international.

SIG provides academically advanced students with an interesting and challenging educational experience. The program combines remarkable academic courses with cultural, social, and recreational opportunities. It also provides students with the opportunity to engage with other students who have similar abilities and interests. Because of our small classes, low teacher-student ratio, and teaching assistants, we are able to individualize the program for each and every student.

The richness of a broad range of geographical, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, the stimulation created by talented and intellectually engaged students working and playing together, the depth and diversity of the SIG faculty and staff, and the beautiful and well-equipped college campus environments create a perfect atmosphere for learning, growing and accomplishing meaningful goals.

SIG s a program of the National Society for the Gifted and Talented, a 501(c)(3) organization.
