This fundraiseris to benefit our Arts in Education Programwhich is our flagship program for schools and organizations. Gimmie Some Mo’ brings the full MOLODI crew into schools for an up close and personal experience with the artists. The program includes several high-energy performance pieces from MOLODI’s repertoire with insight into the cultural histories of the dances and inspirational stories from the artists. It’s an interactive stepping workshop that gets everybody up of their feet and moving beginning with a fun, rhythmic warm up and culminating in a competitive Step Show challenge between the students. The workshop finishes with a question & answer session and final encore performance. Through the art of stepping we also teach confidence, teamwork and unity.
