Molly's Movement TWO!

Molly suffered a massive stoke at the age of 16. She was in a coma for six days and in the hospital for 100 days. Upon release from the hospital, she was confined to a wheelchair and unable to speak due to damage to the communication part of her brain. She did intense, full time therapy as an outpatient in the areas of physical, occupational and speech therapy and now walks with the help of a brace. The biggest obstacle for her is communication. She has severe aphasia and is unable to speak, read or write. Regular health insurance covers a limited number of therapy visits per year. We are seeking help to send Molly to an intense speech camp that we hope will help her speak again. She will need ongoing therapy and medical attention.
