About this campaign
Max, our polydactyl Tuxedo cat, was just released after 4 days of intensive care at our emergency animal hospital. His current vet bills are $2915 and more will be needed for followup care, labs, diabetes curves, and supplies.
Max is our beloved polydactyl tuxedo cat. He has 26 toes and 27 toenails and a personality as unique as his feet! Max has been diabetic for several years but on June 2nd he collapsed and was near death. He was stabilized at our emergency clinic but has renal failure, hypoglycemia, a severe urinary tract infection and enlarged kidney. He was not expected to survive the night - but he survived and thrived! His labs continue to improve daily and he is now eating and drinking on his own. He was released from the ICU on July 6th and the total bill as of today is $2915. He will need ongoing care including regular labs for his kidneys and diabetes and diabetic curve in 2 weeks. He will also be on special food. Artist friends have created these beautiful and fun t-shirt designs of our Max to help us to pay these bills and continue care for Max!
