About this campaign

The Mariner Memorial Park Association is preserving the history of Ashtabula's Harbor High School.  A group of HHS Alumni are raising money to open a museum of HHS memorabilia and build a park with memorial bricks, etc.  Help us keep the spirit of Harbor High alive!

http://marinermemorialpark.org/  The Mariner Memorial Park Association is a grass roots nonprofit organization.  It was formed by Ashtabula Harbor High School Alumni after their school was torn down during a consolidation with another area school system.  Harbor High Alumni want to preserve their history and keep the spirit of their individual school alive.  The businessman who purchased the property where Harbor High used to stand so proudly has generously donated a section of the lot in order to allow us to erect a memorial in their honor.  It is our wish to be able to include in the design a 16 x 16 black granite plaque honoring each of the five branches of the military in order to pay special respects to those Harbor Alumni who gave their time and in some cases their lives in service to their country.  All money raised by this fundraiser will be used to help cover the extra $2,000 it is going to cost to make this addition a reality.
