Laila Gracie Conrad is a beautiful, energetic little girl from Elk Grove, age 6, who was diagnosed 3 years ago with a terminal illness, Vanishing White Matter Disease, a rare and degenerative brain disease. There is currently no cure or treatment for this awful illness and as it is degenerative, Laila is losing her basic motor skills and has gone from running around like a normal 3 year old, to not being able to walk independently at 4, already requiring a walker at age 6.
Our mission is to raise the much needed funds for the research into finding a cure for VWM.

The average life expectancy of VWM patients is 5-10 years from onset of the disease ...
