About this campaign

This is an online effort to raise funds and support for my brother, Steve Austin.  An otherwise incredibly healthy 39 year old, he was diagnosed this past August with a Jak-2 blood mutation and informed that he will need a massive organ transplant procedure.  Please take this opportunity to help support him in this time of need and get yourself or someone else a shirt to remind them to #liftupyourbro.

We have all been down, and if not for the efforts of our brothers and sisters, we might not have ever gotten up.  This past August, my brother Steve was knocked down by an unexpected and unpredictable diagnosis.  A Jak-2 blood mutation had clotted his blood internally, and though the health-conscious gym rat and fitness fanatic had shown no signs of sickness or ailment prior, vein varicies were rendering many of his internal organs useless.  The only cure is a massive transplant of his liver, small intestine, stomach, spleen and pancreas. It is one of the most difficult and longest surgeries someone can have.

Needless to say, the burdens of such news span the imagination.  And this page is our effort to humbly request your support in any way you can:

Financially: Purchase a shirt or make a donation to support Steve's Transplant Fund and unforeseen medical expenses.

Social: tweet or instagram Steve "@sauceten" to show your support use the hashtag #liftupyourbro to show support for the fund, and encourage others to seek opportunities to help those who are down in their own lives this Christmas season.

Spiritually: Prayer is the battle, and it has the power to do even more than the proceeds of a million t-shirt sales (though selling a million shirts would be an awesome answer to prayer!).  If all you can do is lift Steve up for a brief moment, know that that small effort will yield benefits none of us can comprehend.

The t-shirt campaign will run until New Years Eve, and you should receive your shirts about two weeks into January - a great resolution reminder!

Steve has lifted up so many - as a brother, friend, teacher, trainer, teammate and more. Thanks for taking the time to lift him up today.

Supporting Steve and wishing him a full recovery. I had the pleasure of working with him on the feature film 'Finding Eden' this past summer.
