Luke's Lollies

James Rosato is a high school junior who is committed to raising awareness and money for Neuroblastoma cancer research. This fundraiser is for childood cancer charity called Band of Parents. Band of Parents is dedicated, as James is, to fund new therapies for Neuroblastoma. (For more information please visit BandofParents.org).

James’ twin brother, Luke was diagnosed in July, 2007 with Neuroblastoma (cancer of the nervous system) and was treated at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Luke underwent several major surgeries, countless rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy and many other therapies. All this was not enough to tame this fierce monster of a disease. Luke sadly passed away Febraury 10, 2012 when he was just 12 yeas old.

Consistent with his mission, James created "Luke’s Lollies” in memory of his twin brother, Luke. James sells lollipops at various venues and donates the money to Band of Parents. We are now partnering with Booster and Band of Parents to continue the mission. We strongly encourage everyone to buy these t-shirts and tell your family and friends about the fundraiser, so that we can support the strong efforts of Band of Parents through Booster.

New therapies are needed for Neuroblastoma so that afflicted children have an opportunity to live a long and happy life and not suffer as Luke and countless others do! Thank you for your continued support and generosity.
