Katie's English Channel Swim Supporter T-shirts

August 2015, I'm going to swim across the English Channel!

At its narrowest point, the English Channel is 21 miles in a straight line from Dover, England to Cap Gris Nez, France. It is considered the Mount Everest of open water swimming. I'm going to swim, not because I've dreamed of it since before I can remember or because I need a challenge, but because I love the sport and I want to try.
I've been training for over 2 years! As I count down, my excitement builds, but I also can't believe it's almost time! I'm very excited and nervous for this big adventure.

Thank you so much to those that have helped me already. I have been truly grateful for the support and encouragement I have received so far, but I still have a ways to go to fund my swim.
Total fundraising efforts help with much more than the actual channel swim costs. Funding for my swim helps cover the channel association and escort boat fees, equipment, major training swim costs, as well as travel and accommodation expenses for me and my crew.

I appreciate any support you can give, no matter how small. I've been training since the summer of 2013 when I said out loud for the first time that I wanted to do this. It's been a long, hard road, both mentally and physically. I am incredibly grateful for the support and encouragement I have received so far- I couldn't have gotten this far without it. Thank you so so much for any help and support.
