Katie's Crew tackles the triathlon in Clearwater, Florida in November to raise vital funds for research to find a cure for Crohn's and Colitis, two debilitating digestive diseases. Please help our campaign so we can stop the suffering.
If we reach 50 shirts sold we will earn over $400. All funds raised will go directly towards our walk page to support the CCFA's work to come closer to a cure.
Shirts will be delivered approximately 2 weeks after the close date.
As most of you know, my family and I have been battling ulcerative colitis for more than ten years. Mary, Peter and Billy do not live with the disease as I do. They have felt the struggle though as they have stepped up to be the person I couldn't be so many times throughout the past decade.
They have played the role of caregiver, friend, pet sitter, babysitter, sanity-saver and even financier of medications, surgeries and procedures.
We have dedicated a huge amount of our time to fighting this disease. This year, we have teamed up to fight the disease in a much more proactive and positive way. Billy and I will be training to complete the Clearwater TriRock Triathlon in November and will be raising funds for vital research in the field of IBD (Irritable Bowel Disease).
More than 82 cents of every dollar we raise will go directly to this cause.
For those of you who would like to know more about my personal battle with ulcerative colitis, please visit my blog. To learn more about how the more than 1.4 million other Americans are suffering from ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease, please visit the CCFA.
Billy and I have a big goal to raise $7,800.00 for CCFA. I hope that you will help by making a donation. Any contribution would mean the world to me, my family and all those affected by these diseases. Please also pass along this Booster page to friends and/or family!
Though my battle with ulcerative colitis will not have an end until a cure is found, Billy and I are going to cross a symbolic finish line in November.
Your donation through the purchase of a shirt will help CCFA come closer to a cure.
A big thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Katie Pearce
