About this campaign

K-9 Lifesavers rescues amazing dogs from the highest kill shelters in the south. We transfer dogs every week from Tennessee up to DC/MD/VA to find wonderful fur-ever homes! Once we rescue a dog we take care of their every need until they find their fur-ever family.Every shirt you buy helps us save another pup!

K-9 Lifesavers rescues wonderful dogs from the highest kill shelters in the south. We have matched thousands of dogs with amazing fur-ever homes here in the MD/DC/VA area. Our mission is to rescue thousands more...until every dog has a loving fur-ever family!

We are a 501(c)(3) organization that runs entirely on volunteers and donations. Once we rescue a pup we provide everything that dog needs until we find his/her family. Our love is free, but everything else we have to buy! We GREATLY appreciate your support for our mission and your love for our dogs.

Sophiejpg "This is Sophie and her litter mate (our son) Liam. They have been best friends since we brought her home over 2 years ago. Most rescue orgs won't even talk to families with children under 5. K9 Lifesavers took the time to get to know us before making a decision. We must have convinced them that we were committed enough, because now it's like we're raising twins! Thank you!"

gerrardjpg "This is Gerrard! We saw his ears online and knew he had to join our family. He loves being outside, playing catch, and going for rides in the car. He has brought so much joy and laughter into our lives in such a short time! Thank you K-9 Lifesavers for bringing this guy into our lives."

bugjpg "This is Bug! We adopted Bug a Nugget December 2013. We saw him on the internet and I drove from a cheer competition in Savannah, GA to Maryland to bring him home. He lives in North Carolina where he can run, tumble in the leaves, play in the creek and sleep in the bed with his humans. Oh - he still loves sweet potatoes just like he did when he was in foster care. Thank you for everything, but most of all for our Bug."

Lolajpg "We adopted Lola on Mother's Day 2011 at the Reston Pet Fiesta. We didn't intend on adopting that day but when I picked her up I knew there was no putting her down. Most of her litter mates were mostly white with black spots so she stood out. She's full of energy and a great big sister! I always say she rescued me not the other way around."
