About this campaign
Help the Humane Society of Goodhue County raise money for spay/neuter surgeries to prevent unwanted litters of puppies and kittens.
We are the Humane Society of Goodhue County and we LOVE animals! We are
an independent, nonprofit animal shelter serving the city of Red Wing,
greater Goodhue County, and much of Pierce County. Our mission is to
protect animals by providing shelter, promoting adoption &
responsible pet ownership, and preventing animal over-population. We
take in lost, stray, and abandoned animals, as well as some who are
surrendered by owners no longer able to care for them. We provide a safe
place for pets to stay until the can be reclaimed by their owners or
find new homes through adoption. You can learn more about our

If we are to see the suffering of innocent animals end, then we MUST decrease the population.One cannot say they are a responsible pet owner if they have not done this reponsible action.

My daughter worked as a vet tech at the animal shelter in Santa Fe, NM for many years and is now in her 2nd year of vet school. I am on the board of our local humane society and know that shelters always need $.
I support rescue. I hate puppy mills, and backyard breeding s. There are too many unwanted pets in this world, and unfortunately we cannot save them all. But, we can save all that we can.
