My name is Alex, I'm nineteen, I'm FTM and I live with an abusive family.

Living with them has been hard because ever since I was a kid, they've taken every single thing I've said with a grain of salt. When I told them I needed help because of my depression, they rolled their eyes and said, "What do you have to be depressed about?"

When my cousin said I hadn't faced any hardships, I told him that I had, and my whole family laughed in my face.

I live with that kind of family.

Except now this family is divorcing, and my mother wants to move to Texas. I can already tell that moving there won't be good for me, and when I tried to tell her I could move up to Washington instead if she just gave me a little financial help, she screamed and insulted me and told me I was incompetent and immature without her.

This started out as a fund to get money to help with my transition because my dad's insurance won't cover me in Texas, but now it's a fund to help me move out. I have to put myself first here because living with my parents any longer could have very bad results.

We have to be out of the house before July 1st. I'm hoping to have enough money to move out by mid-June. It is so, so important that I not move with my mother. My father is not an option.
