HA Fall 2016 Fundraiser

Haven Acres offers a safe, country environment where hurting youth find hope, healing, and restoration through their interaction with horses and loving mentors that demonstrate the transformational love of Jesus. The design pairs one child, ages 9-17, with a mentor and a horse that work together, free of charge, each week for a 90 minute session. They will help do chores around the farm and learn basic horsemanship. They will build confidence, trust and a good work ethic. We serve kids with challenges like autism, fetal alcohol, ADHD, depression, and self-injurious behaviors.
We also rescue horses to help with our program and recently rescued our newest horse, Jedidiah, and we're excited to use him with the kids next summer!
