Sofia Isabella is a fierce and spunky 2 year old. Her personality and her eyes are what make her unique and special. She is an angel of God and loved by all, including her 5 year old brother, Aiden ("Bubba" to her). On Monday, January 26th, 2015 she was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma Cancer. Her family has already gone through heartbreak and they are determined to fight this battle to the bitter end.

Sofia Isabella is our fierce and spunky 2 year old daughter. What seemed to be another normal weekend turned into one of the worst days of our lives next to the day we lost our twin girls in 2010. . After Sofia's eye had been bruised for a few weeks we decided to get it checked up so we went to All Childrens on Friday (1/23). After 2 days of numerous scans we were hit with some awful news that she had a mass behind her eye. We felt like we were living a nightmare of uncertainty, not having a diagnosis. Surgery was scheduled for Monday morning 1/26. They biopsied the mass to find out what we were up against. The news was not good. Sofia had Neuroblastoma Cancer.
Our life has been turned upside down. We would never think that something this horrific would happen to us. I'm trying to figure out why we are being challenged so much. Maybe to teach people to love and put family first or maybe to teach us to let go of the little things and make us focus on what really matters. We have a long hard road ahead of us. We have cried, damned, screamed, and now we are finally starting to come to terms with what life has put in our path. Our babies are our life. We eat, sleep and breath for them. So please remember to hug, love and don't sweat the small stuff with your babies . It's not worth it. They are little angels that pick us as parents so our job is to love and teach them to be good people. We are good people and don't deserve this but we will take the challenge and kick it in its ASS!!! We are stronger and more fierce and we will win this battle.
WE WANT TO THANK EVERYONE THAT HAS CALLED, TEXTED, MESSAGED, DROP BY, SENT WONDERFUL GIFTS FOR US AND OUR LITTLE BABIES AND SPECIALLY DONATED. WE APPRECIATE ALL THE LOVE THAT'S BEING SHOWN TO US. AGAIN FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS THANK YOU.

Sofia's dad and my nephew grew up together; she is such a sweet little girl and they shouldn't be going through this fight alone.
